Hello!
I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Toulouse School of Economics, where I am part of the Environment group, and INRAE.
My main research focus is environmental inequality, and lies at the intersection of Urban/Spatial Economics and Environmental Economics, with a related interest in Health, Housing and Transport Economics. I work on the causes and consequences of disparities in access to environmental amenities, with an emphasis on urban contexts.
I received my PhD from Paris School of Economics (PSE) and Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS-PSL) in July 2025, under the supervision of Camille Hémet. I was also a Teaching and Research Fellow at University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1) from 2023 to 2025, and I visited the London School of Economics (LSE) Department of Geography and the Environment in 2024, sponsored by Gregor Singer.
You can find my CV here and contact me at pascale.champalaune(at)tse-fr.eu, or pascale.champalaune(at)psemail.eu.
