Hello!
I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Toulouse School of Economics, where I am part of the Environment group, and INRAE.
My research lies at the intersection of Environmental Economics and Urban/Spatial economics, with related interests in Health and Housing Economics. I am particularly interested in environmnental inequality: I study the causes and consequences of disparities in exposure to environmental disamenities, such as local air pollution and pesticides, combining quasi-experiments and structural tools with rich administrative and spatial data.
I received my PhD from Paris School of Economics (PSE) and Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS-PSL) in July 2025, under the supervision of Camille Hémet. I visited the London School of Economics (LSE) Department of Geography and the Environment in 2024, sponsored by Gregor Singer.
I will be on the 2026-2027 job market for academic positions.
You can find my CV here and contact me at pascale.champalaune(at)psemail.eu or pascale.champalaune(at)tse-fr.eu.
